Holiday Waste
This client was looking for a workshop that educates and empowers people to reduce waste. ArtVentuers developed a workshop that transformed “waste” and single use, disposable items into something that can be reused for years to come. We created beautiful upcycled boxes that not only divert waste from landfill, but also reduce future waste as well!
Plasticine
This client was planning a children’s art festival and was looking for an authentic art making opportunity for thousands of participants over the weekend. They requested an open ended art activity for participants of all ages and abilities, and asked that we don’t use small plastic parts like beads. These miniature sculptures were the perfect activity! We received such wonderful feedback from festival goers all weekend long, and even had people telling us it was the best art tent the festival has ever had.
Oktoberfest
This client was looking for an art activity with a tie in to Oktoberfest! I proposed a hand stamped version of the Wiesnglupperl Blog Post and Oktoberfest themed coasters, key chains and bookmarks to commemorate the evening! The art tent was packed full as attendees enjoyed their beer while they crafted into the night.
Perler
This client was looking for an engaging Make & Take activity for 200 participants at an 80s-themed party. We used Perler beads to create magnets, bookmarks, pins, and hair clips. ArtVentures provided a variety of prompts & inspiration along with plenty of individual support so that participants were empowered to use their own ideas & designs as well. It was a resounding success!
Light Up
This client was looking for a glow up for the art tent at their outdoor winter festival (see what I did there?!). They asked for an activity that hundreds of kids could complete, wanted it to light up or glow in the dark, and be easy to complete with winter gear on. Not only did ArtVentures check all those boxes, we also made sure to use materials that wouldn’t freeze, would be easy to clean up, and created minimal waste. And would you just look at how fun these stained-glass inspired ornaments turned out?
Tea Cups
This client requested a tea cup decorating station for their steam-punk themed corporate party. ArtVentuers took care of all the prep and research that went in to making sure the teacups matched the vibe and would stand up to use and washing, and provided tons of individual support & attention so that participants could create their own unique designs.
Aurora
This client asked for a custom workshop for summer campers aged 6-12 years with direct ties to their exhibition space. We drew inspiration from the Aurora Room to create these mesmerising, mixed media landscapes! Both the process and end product were adored by campers, parents, and instructors alike.
